could i have genital herpies?

i have had some red pimple like objects recently appear around my pubic area. some have puss and some dont. i popped one of them and it seems to be going down. the others are still there. they just appeared about 2 days ago and i am freaking out. i am happily married now and i havent had sexual contact with anyone in 2yrs. i was wondering could it be a herpes outbreak appearing for the first time after all this time. i am 100% certain that my wife does not have herpes because she has been tested. the pimples are only in the pubic hair region and no where on my penis or rectum. i dont think i have any other symptoms but i am really worried. what do you think it could be and what should i do?

had this tiny non blister like rashes on my penis head. It first started in 2002 when it first developed. I did not see any doc and the rashes just goes away in a week. In 2005, the rashes appear again and i did see a doc and fungus culture test were done which comes out negative.

Now in 2007, the rashes appear again. i went to see a GP instead of the doc that i seen in 2005. I ask him what they could might be and he suggested Herpes. which he gave me some forban cream and ampicilin.

I went back to the doc which i visited in 2005 and she assured me it could not have been herpes, if it was, they would be ordered a test to be carried out.

Being paranoid, esp when my wife is now pregnant and she also often suffers from vagina discomfort.

counsellors told me not to be paranoid about this herpes thing and dun be too worried.

BUT i am mentally torturing myself. so i ordered to have a HSV type blood test to be done.

Results will be out in 2 weeks time. keeping my fingers crossed now.

My question is: Can herpes be in the form of rashes...?? no blister, no lesion, no canker sore.

i'm pretty sure it's possible that you can get herpes from your mother when you were born if she has it.

if anyone had no sine of any thing and some one did get it with the guy they  where havein sex with and useing protection  and how could thay get it  and this was the first person that this girl ever had sex with.. is there other ways u can get it (STD's)

I have a real brain stumper that I have not understood for the last 13 years.  Im now 26 years old and I have never had sex.  When I was 13 years old I remember wakeing up one night with a terrible itch on my testicle area which was followed by the worst burning sensation I have ever felt on the area which I was scratching, there was some type of fluid present.  It took almost a week for the sore to heal.  It dryed up and there was dry skin present on the area.  Every since then I have had outbreaks over the 13 years since the first outbreak.  I did not think it was herpies in the begining.  After I learned about STD's in school I thought I had herpies.  What I don't get is the fact that I got genital herpies in the first place?  I have never had sexual contact with anyone at that age, how would I have got it?  I have never seen a doctor and have restrained from any sexual activity for now.  Is there a way that genital herpies can be spread other than sexual contact?  If its not herpies I don't know what else it could be, but how would I have got it at 13 with no sexual contact?  Any help would be great.

I have a hard, round bump located just outside of my vagital area. Its soar, and about 1/2 inch round. Part of me thinks it's a pimple that hasn't formed a head yet. I haven't had sex with anyone, other than my boyfriend (who was a virgin) in almost two years. Would the symptoms take that long to appear?

thanks for the feedback. i cant help but worry. i do shave my pubic area and i have gotten what looked like a in grown hair before. but i have never had like 7 or 8 at a time. is it common for in grown hairs to appear in groups at a time?

I think you have folliculitis (blocked pores), not herpes.  I think you should not pop the pimples.  Instead, you should apply bacitracin or neosporin ointment twice a day on the affected areas.  If things don't subside in 2 week,s show a doctor for reassurance and treatment.

It could be folliculitis. Read some of other questions in this forum. Your case sounds somewhat like them. And in that area there is a lot of hair so it kind of makes sense. I would not worry too much. I know sometimes that is hard to do. But I think the doctor will have good news for you. So try to relax if you can.
