could it be genital herpes?

Recently my bf accidently scratched the tip of my clitoris during oral sex.   By the 4th day afterwards it was swollen and painful, and he said there was a bit of pus from the scratch. I also realized later that one reason it was so painful was because there were also at least two sores, looking like cold sores, on the labia lips. I applied polysporin and cleaned it regularly.  Now it's 10 days laer, and at least 5 or six more open sores  have appeared on my buttocks, following my crack.  They are red and somewhat painful. They appear to be changing to a more irritated red dot like pustules.  We have been together three years, and neither of us have ever had a cold sore in our lives. I also think I developed a yeast infection yesterday since I'm starting to itch. So I 'm very scared and unhappy, and wondering if I got infected through my scratch, which by the way is healing.  What other type of infection would fit this description?

Never had the need to be tested before as i was not active.

Can you explain what is meant by palpable nodes?

I also noticed that today, I have some soreness at the both joints where my legs start, at the groin.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

This may be a bacterial infection .A bacterial infection and fungal infection may be present together and this may need oral antibiotics aside from the topical medications. Refrain from any sexual activity for the moment until you have this assessed. A culture of the discharge may help ascertain the diagnosis.

Do you have any palpable nodes in the area?

Have you been tested with STD’s before?
