eczema on shaft of penis

About a month ago i was engaging in a practice referred to as  "dry humping" which later lead to unprotected sex with my then girlfriend. Shortly after, I developed some pain, inflamation, and redness in a few areas of the shaft on my penis. After a day or so the infected are became dry which later developed into a scabe. I started applying Cortaid to the infected area and sustained from any activity that would create friction in that area. Within about a week the infected was noticebly better, but it wasnt until a month where all the symptoms/scabe were completely gone. Two days ago I was having sex and almost right away I could feel the irratation come back with the same severity as the first one. At first, I treated this a simply a irratation due to friction caused by the "dry humping" but now I not so sure. The symptoms appeared to gone and I sustained from "dry humping" the second time, so I dont understand why this problem is reaccuring. Ive never had any issues in the past related to this. Ive done a little research and thought it may be Eczema, but I don't have a history of it nor did i think u could develope it overnight from one event.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

Hard to say without seeing it, but it sounds like irritation from friction.  Once a skin spot is irritated, it can be more sensitive for a time, which probably accounts for the recurrence.  I suggest reducing friction-inducing activities for a while and keeping the area moisturized.  You should be fine.  If the symptoms persist, or if you can see a skin change that won't go away, you'll need to see a doctor in person.

Take care.

I am not a doctor, but dry humping can cause a lot of friction on VERY delicate tissues, especially if it is penis to cloth. Abrasion is bound to take place. So I would think that irritation would be the most likely culprit. I would think that this would probably be treated differently from eczema, with an anti-biotic ointment rather than a hydrocortisone product. I am sure the doctor will give you reassuring news and a good method of remedying your problem.
