growing spot near genitals

Several months ago when I was showering I noticed a slightly raised area near my genitals. I took a picture and it looked like I may have been getting a mole near there, but in the last 24 hours it has become very raised, almost like a blister. I have never had intercourse or done any sexual activity with anyone ever. If you could give me an idea of what I should do (if anything) I'd appreciate it. I'm living in a foreign country so I would like to get a general idea of what I should do before I actually go to a doctor here.

Correct, it is soft. Thank you very much for your input. It helps to have someone I can consult with in English before having to try to go to a doctor with someone I work with for them to translate. :-) I will follow your suggestion. I will continue to monitor for any more changes and if there are I will consult a dermatologist. Thanks again for your help.

Hi.

From the image, the bump appears to be fluctuant or soft. Is this correct?

The purplish and bluish discoloration may suggest that this is vascular in origin. Refrain from manipulating the area as it may bleed and may get infected. At this point, if there is no pain, no redness ,then I do not think this requires immediate intervention. However, you may opt to have this assessed by a dermatologist. A mole or nevus may still be a differential.

I'm 29. I'm female.

From the picture the bump looks dark purple. It's smooth. Not painful or itchy at all.

Hi.

How old are you

Are you male or female?

Also, with regards to bumps in the genital area, we still can not completely rule out infections here. A superficial skin infection may be considered in the absence of a significant sexual history. Swollen sweat glands and blocked hair follicles may also be differentials.

How would you describe the bump?

Is it red ,blue ,purple or black?

Is it painful or itchy?
