herpes????? i dunno i need help

hi i am 24 years old and am experiencing large red lumps in my pubic region i would say around 5 of them total all of them in different places, but none are inflamed at the same time.  when inflamation does occur it is a very painful large growth (it kinda looks like someone has pinched and pulled my skin out), which eventually forms a pimple like white head on top. none of these growths are on my penis they are only in my pubic hairs. i dont experience any burning, itching or tingling(i dont quite know how the tingling should feel) and no rash is present only pain i have no discharge from my penis.  i have had sex only 3 times and all 3 times i was wearing a condom.  when i break the pimple on the growth some yellowish liquid comes out followed by some bleeding.  after the growth is popped the swelling goes down and i am left with a scab and then what appears to be a black and blue mark flush with the skin.  now i am under the assumption that herpes appears in clusters and has a burning itching feeling with small raised sores which have a red rash around them.  i went to the doctor a couple years ago about a little circle of dots with one dot in the middle which if squeezed produced a cottage cheese like substance, he told me that i was an open pore and was harmless, i dont know if this has anything to do with what i am experiencing now but none the less i am worried.  i am under the influence that these might be infected ingrown hairs. but what i really wanted to find out if herpes resembles anything close to what i am experiencing....if anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it

No, it's not herpes.  It sounds like blocked pores that might be infected.  This is probably from squeezing, which is what's causing scabs, liquid coming out, etc., and which you should stop.  The dot you had that had "cottage cheese" material coming out was a cyst, which is common in this area and means nothing.  Please leave your bumps alone, apply bacitracin or neosporin ointment twice daily, and see a doctor for definitive diagnosis and treatment.

Take care.

Sounds like blocked pores or pimples to me. I am not a doctor, but I think herpes presents itself differently and has other symptoms. Try not to get yourself all worried about this. I am sure the doctor will give you reassuring advice. He always does from what I have seen of his responses. Relax and have a good weekend. You will be fine.
