hi have warts and dirty looking neck please help

Even though i clean every day, wipe the neck area well..,cant get rid of it,also have spots now and again..it stressing me,cant wear low top.Am female 42 overweight..always had problem skin ,ever since was around 13..was on different medication years ago for face acne,had nothing recently,the doctor didnt seem concerened..can anyone help?thanks jane

This can be due to hyperpigmented skin or acanthosis nigricans. If you are overweight and obese then acanthosis nigricans is an important possibility. Acanthosis nigricans presents as symmetrical, hyperpigmented, velvety plaques mostly in the folds of skin. It is not itchy and is characterized by hyperpigmentation. My sincere advice is to consult a dermatologist.
