hives lasting 2 months

im 8 months pregnant and at exactly 6 months i developed chronic urticaria and the doctors cant figure out what it is caused by. ive had a punch biopsy done and several blood tests everything is comin back normal... ive had no changes in diet, soap, enviroment, or anything i get them at all times and where i am location wise. they itch like crazy and swell up to enormus sizes please help!!!!!

one more thing i was reading a web forum about rhogam shots and i did get one at 6 weeks due to trauma. this women said that a few months after she got this rhogam shot she broke out in the itching rash that the doctors couldnt figure out what it was. she said that it lasted for years. i was wondering if this could be some delayed reaction from the rhogam shot?

I'm sorry to hear what you've been through these past months. It is good that the tests were normal. Hives are usually due to an allergic reaction to something you are being exposed to. Talk to your doctor which medication may help with your symptoms. It is not advisable to self-medicate since there are a lot of medicine that are not considered safe during pregnancy. Also, try to manage your stress and relax because sometimes stress may also contribute to the development of hives.
