i need help with hair bump and missing hair!!!!

hello i'm 19 so basically Ive had a bump on my head for a couple of months is not big nor small but one day my friend told me i was missing hair in that area there was no signs of redness or anything like dots but just an empty spot. Can anyone tell me what it might be its making me feel bad the bum does not itch or is making me uncomfortable but that small missing hair area in the bump is making me go crazy i dont have insurance and im not in the position where i can afford a dermatologist (the little dot inside the empty spot is blood when my mom tried to squeeze it to see if it was a pimple but only blood came out

It can be due to cysts or sebaceous cysts. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains a "pasty" or "cheesy" looking substance called keratin.They may occur anywhere on body but scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected ,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
