What is this small bump on my upper lip?

I noticed a bump forming on the skin by the corner of my mouth and assumed it was a pimple, but it’s been a couple of weeks and it has not gone away. It’s not a pimple, but a small, pink raised bump. It’s not tender unless I touch it and it’s about the size of the tip of a cotton swap. What is it? How can I make it go away?

It could be a clogged pore- sometimes they take a little time to clear up and not all pimples (or clogged pores) act exactly the same.  I would not touch it or pick at it, but keep the area clean.  You may try Vaseline on it, to see if that helps (it may if it's more of an irritation). If it continues to bother you, or gets worse- you should have a doctor take a look to ensure you know the origin and can treat it more accurately.
