whiteness under skin of labia

as long as i can remember ive had these white spots or patches on the skin of my vagina, around the clit and down the sides of the inner labia.  what are they??  im 17 and not sexually active thus it is very improbable that they are an STD.
theyre completely flat, dont itch, dont hurt, theyre just there and they look odd.  any answers would be helpful.

Hello,
Lichen Simplex Chronicus is seen in people with eczema. It is non contagious. It is treated like chronic eczema by decreasing water and soap contact, and applying emollients. Topical steroids are almost always needed to control the symptoms. You can use mild steroid cream like Dermacort and if the symptoms persist then high potency steroids and oral steroids may be needed.
My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist to get the diagnosis confirmed. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

looked at definitions and descriptions online, lichen sclerosus seems unlikely however lichen simplex could be it.  i dont notice it itching at all but, i do masturbate frequently, almost daily for years.  could i have given myself lichen simplex from over masturbation and irritated the area? this of course is embarrassing to admit but most often i masturbate with the aid of an electric toothbrush... would that have caused the irritation over the years? and how do i get it to go away??
