not sure what this could be

For about the past 5 or so months my lips have been feeling sore and tingling all the time, at the start of this week i had a yellow spot on my lip like the ones you would get anywhere else but actually on my lip which i have never had before, a few days after that i got a small yellow blister which has gone away now and left a small red crater where it was, must have opened it with friction or something and now a day after that i have noticed some more yellow spots appearing on my lips like the first ones i had...

Any idea what this could be? should i wait it out or take my questions to my GP and see what he has to say?

thanks in advance.

It's not that bad, but for your own peace of mind, you should check it out.

I would wait.  The little yellow spots are probably sebaceous, or oil glands that belong on the lip but can be seen more obviously at times.  As for the sore and crater, it might have been a herpes cold sore but sounds too small.  A doctor would be able to clarify it, but there's nothing to do about it now, so you can wait.

Best.
