My fiance has experienced the same problem. Usually he gets chafing and minor flaking on the head of his penis when he's a lot more physically active than normal. (Excessive walking, running, etc.) We tried a couple of different lotions and topical creams that worked somewhat...but didn't fully cure all the symptoms. Then, I suggested to try my BikiniZone medicated ointment that I personally use for reddness and irritation after shaving my bikini area. And...IT totally WORKED for him! Now we use it whenever his chafing problem reoccurs. You can find it at most local drugstores...(WalMart, Target, Walgreens...) by the razors and shaving gels. Clean and dry the area thoroughly and apply a nickel size amount of BikiniZone and rub gently across the irritated area...wait a minute or so for it to dry before putting on undergarments. Use maybe 2 to 3 times a day..morning and night. Good luck! :)
Hello,
For chafing wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.
