From the symptoms they are most likely to be infected hair follicles or boils. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle and in your case it can be due to continuous sitting. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).
Apply some topical antiseptics and warm compresses. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Topical antibiotics such as Neosporin or Bactroban are also useful. If the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist.
