pimple on the shaft of my penis?

Hello,

This morning i was taking a shower and i noticed what seemed like a pimple on the shaft of my penis, only one. It looked like a typical pimple, with a head on it, and the head on it was yellowish/white. I popped it, and a think yellowish/white pus came out, just like pimples that you pop on your face. It didn't really hurt when i popped it, and it doesn't hurt afterwords either.

Now, i`ve never had a pimple around my genital area, never the less on the shaft of my penis, so i am a bit scared.

Could this be herpes? or just a normal pimple?

I didnt have anything there yesterday when i showered (i inspect the soldier every day), and my last time i had sex, or any sexual activity was over 2 years ago, and i only had 1 partner. I do not have any symptoms like a discharge, burning sensation, etc...

I have been tested for STDs except for herpes, the doctor said it wasn't really worth the money for it.

Now, does what i have sound like a normal pimple, or could it be a sign of herpes? From my understanding, it would normally take a few days for a herpes blister to appear and build, and that it cant be poped, and there is pain involved.

I am hoping if someone who any experience can chime in and help me rest easily, because i am very worried and scared.
