please help!!

by ventura80, Oct 21, 2009 08:00AM
Hi, i'm confused i haven't gone to a doctor yet but i'm trying to avoid that if i can. i have a small rash on my penis that loosk like small small little bumps, like a rash, and they appeard three weeks ago, they don't itch, they aren't red, they are a lighter color than my normal skin but thats it,i looked up herpes symptoms and i have NONE. I never thought of them as more than just a rash because i do dry hump in my sleep and sometimes i can feel irritation when i wake myself up, but this rash hasn't gone away. I only have had sex once and it was unprotected, that was about 8 months ago. So thats what got me thinking but i looked up herpes symptoms and i have NONE besides a rash...but even that seems weird because every where i read sources say the outbreak usaully lasts about 10-15 days or less. Is there any light you can give me about this?

This discussion is related to Herpes or What?.

To: ventura80,
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be sebaceous prominence or rash due to friction rub. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton clothes. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist

Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
