Could it be an STD?

I have a girlfriend and we regularly have sex and i get red spots on my penis head and at first thought that there was something wrong but i realised they would dissappear so thought if they didnt stay for very long it cant be that serious so i just keep an ey on it to make sure the same time span of the red spots. We had sex one night and i got friction burn so we stopped having sex until it subsided. I told you about that because even though last night i wasnt with my girlfriend and i did not have sex the red spots this appeared and my foreskin swelled up and this really worried me, not so much the spots as my girlfriend and i had sex the previous night and they generally dissappear after a few days. We do use condoms but the previous two times we had sex we did not have any condoms.
My question is why did my foreskin swell up and become itchy???
And what could it be???

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be folliculitis, contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub with clothes, dermatitis (atopic, contact, allergic),excessive sweating causing sweat dermatitis or balanitis(due to an underlying infection (bacterial and fungal as well as other organisms) .Even flat warts cannot be ruled out as it is spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner.

You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. You can also use a barrier cream with zinc oxide paste or calamine lotion or a mild steroid cream like dermacort on the rash. If the bumps are itchy, you  can take some antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin.

If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.Genital warts have to be ruled out.

I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.

Possibly just a bite reaction and nothing else.Do get examined if there is recurrence.Always opt for protected sex.
