rash makes me worried its an STD

I noticed (a while ago) I have these little red  spots that show up on my penis, both on the head and the shaft. I had protected sex once many years ago, and never noticed it for years after that. The first time I noticed it was after masturbating a lot with lotions and lubrication, so I stopped masturbating as much. Recently I noticed it, after reading a few things on the internet i though it might just be a skin irritation. I read to apply hydrocortisome cream. That seemed to make it go away.I went to my girlfriend parents house. Didnt notice anything untill after I put on my clothes they washed. the rash stayed around for like 3 days, ( I washed all my other clothes when I got home). Does this sound like an STD? there is no pain,no sores, and no discharge. There are just a few red spots. Also if it possible to get an STD from someone else's underwear?

ok. Thank you.i will still go get tested. I figured if it was an STD it would hurt or have worse symptoms then what i have. ie sores, blisters etc...

No this does not sound like an STD. This is more likely to be a rash and irritation from either the laundry detergent they used, a different soap you showered with or any recent sexual activity with your girlfriend. The combination of friction, heat, bacteria and dryness can trigger breakouts in these sensitive areas as well.
That being said, it is possible to get an STD from sharing underwear, so always wear and wash your own.
If you are still concerned, it never hurts to get tested.
