rash on head of penis

I had protected sex with a "pro".  After, she wiped me down with alcohol and later that night, just to be sure, I doused myself with hand sanitizer.  About 6-7 days later my scotum became red and really itchy and the head of my penis was very sensitive/slightly uncomfortable. No pain or burning with urination, no ulcers, no discharge.  I used hydrocotisone cream which helped my scotum after a few days and took 1.5 gram azithromycin and later 3 grams amoxicllin (just to be safe from chylmd and gonn).  After 3 weeks from initial contact, the head of my penis is red and blotchy.  Just the top part.  Nothing is raised or ulcerated. Just a little uncomfortable.  Sometimes its more visible (gets pretty red) then others.  Im also STRESSING and obsessing about it every second of every day.  Could this all be from just drying out my skin from the hand sanitizer?  Is this mostly mental?  The rash is there.  Im using the hydrocortisone cream on the head but it doesnt seem to be helping that much. any advise would help.

I am circumsized so there is no foreskin.  Its more of an irritation/rash than inflammation. It is localized to the top portion of the glans. The cortisone cream hasn't seamed to do much so Im going to try the lotrimin.  Ive already taken the azithromycin, so Im assuming (hoping) that chlamydia and gonorrhea are ruled out. The rash on the scrotum seams to be returning, so maybe the lotrimin will help this too.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to balanoposthitis. Balanoposthitis is the inflammation of the foreskin and glans and can be caused by bacterial or fungal origins or by contact dermatitis.

Oral course of antibiotics is needed. In addition, please don’t use any cosmetics on the penis, instead use some topical antimicrobials like Bacitracin or Lotrimin. Also corticosteroids and topical immunosuppressants can be used but they are available under prescription. Also retract the foreskin daily and soak in warm water to clean penis and foreskin. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a urologist/dermatologist for evaluation and also get complete STD panel esp. for Chlamydia or Gonorrhea ruled out..

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
