red patches and hair loss in eyeborw

I have a 16 year old son. 3 months ago he got a red patch under his eyebrow. He applied Econazole cream for two weeks but it didn't work. after a while  he started loosing his eyebrow hair and the other eyebrow showed the same problem.I took him to another doctor and he gave him Desonide Lotion, it didn't help either. the culture was done and the result for Yeast and Fungi was negative. I am very  upset and sad and don't know what to do.  he also got some spots on his leg and arms and back,which some of them are gone.these spots look different form his eyebrow's spot, they are don't have inflammation, but i thought they are kind of related because appeared at same time. Today his doctor did biopsy from one of those spot on his leg , but it takes 2-3 weeks to get the result and he is loosing his eyebrow. I need your help.please let me know, is there anything that i can do to survive the rest of his eyebrow? i mean before getting the biopsy result, should he apply any steroid cream or something?
