red stains on the skin when I'm emotioned

Hy eberybody!
I'm italian and my english insn't good...sorry.
I have a particolar problem since I was a child (I'm 22 years old now).
When I feel embarrassed (for example: when I read something in public on during an university examination ecc..) on my skin appear red stains.
Before of a univeristy exam (...in sum when I feel emotioned!) on my chest/neck skin appear these stains.
These stains disappear after few minutes IF I calm my self...ELSE the area of these stains increase. The interested area of this phenomenon is my chest end my neck especially.
This "thing" is very very frustrating for me, because it's a wall to me and my comunications to other people.
My self-esteem is very down when I'm in those situations, it's like a block of devolopment of my personality..it's really frustrating.
Ah...These red stains aren't painful and my mother have the same thing.
So...what is it for you these "thing"??
What can I do to resolve these problem?
Please help me.
THANKS

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
What you are having looks like dermatographism. The other possibility is of hives. Dermatographism can be caused by stress, tight or abrasive clothing, watches, glasses, energetic kissing, heat, cold, anxiety or anything that causes stress to the skin. It can be treated by antihistamines or cromoglicate and sometimes steroids, as they prevent the histamine from causing the reaction. But as the underlying cause of dermographism is not known, it can last for many years without relief.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
