reoccuring nose sore/scab (top, not inside)

I have a reoccuring nose sore which seems to attack clusters of pores after scratching or picking a pimple. Please can someone help? It is about 1.5 cm in diametre and has happened twice in the past three years. I am now left with a red mark on face which i am too scared to touch incase it infects again. I have images if of use. It doesnt seem to look like cellulitus or staph infection but im not an expert.

Is the spot painful?  It sounds like an irritation due to scratching the blemish (if it's just a red mark, it very well could be a scar)- it's a good idea to leave the area alone and let it heal.  You will want to make sure you keep it clean as well.  If it continues to get worse- you see some odd changes, or gets more painful- give your doctor a call so they can check it out.
