scabies

Hi,

I had scabies before and is treated now. I have seen scabies pictures from the website below and have some questions.

http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/hardin/md/dermnet/scabies5.html

I am recovered from scabies but just under the head of penis, I have skin ring (risen skin) just like as shown in picture above. I asked from Dermatologist who said that he doesn't know why it is and what caused it. He said may be it could be because of scabies.

Can you please advise me is this because of scabies infection or something else? If it is how long its gonna take to recover it? It now one month I have taken the scabies treatment.

Regards,

Last week i noticed in my inner left thigh near my testes I had a rash of some sort.
It was itchy, peeling on some parts with whitish skin and reddish irritated skin showing.  I have been putting Neosporin thinking it would help it heal but it does not.  I am freaking out and i do not know what to do.  Could it be just a rash, infection, std or etc.
Please reply i would appreciate it, I can send a picture of the irritated area if it helps.

Hi,

Scabies generally occurs in the skin folds  and look like tiny bumps. There is a possibility that this could be because of scabies. Generally scabies subsides in  a day or two but at times it may take a few weeks.
I would suggest you to continue with the treatment for few more days, if there is no sign of improvement, please seek a second opinion with a dermatologist.
