Hi,

Scalp acne can be due to a lot of causes. It may be due to an an allergic reaction from any hair products and may also be related to genetics.Using a mild shampoo and conditioner can help. Experts also recommend the use of showering frequently with benzoyl peroxide cleanser and shampoo and applying a benzoyl peroxide gel afterwards to the affected area. It is important to keep the area clean and dry as much as possible.
Tee Tree Oil is one natural product that has been effective to prevent infection and future breakouts. If your condition persists and scarring present, it is best to see your doctor for further evaluation and management.

Take care and keep us posted.
