Hi,
Fordyce spots are small (1-5mm) bright red or purple papules that can appear on the glans, shaft or scrotum and usually affect younger men. They may occur as a solitary lesion, but frequently appear in crops of 50 to 100.
They are painless and not itchy, but may cause embarrassment because of their appearance, or a fear that they might be sexually transmitted.
They are abnormally dilated blood vessels, covered by thickened skin. They may bleed if injured or even during intercourse.
They are not infectious and their cause is unknown. Although a number of approaches have been tried, there is no simple, reliable treatment to remove them.
Troublesome bleeding spots can be sealed with a device that uses a small electric current (electrocautery).

asaince thereis no itching/burning it may not be eczema/fungal infection which are common causes.
If you want an accurate diagnosis it should be seen by a dermatologist.
Thank you very much.
Since I'm on a business trip I can't see my dermatologist until mid-July.
It's just a single, irregularly shaped ( 0.8 cm x 0.5 cm) spot where the skin looks different to the rest. I thought it might have resultet from an injury (scratching with sharp finger nail some time ago), now more visible because of the thinner skin due to accutane treatment
(problems with basically all mucous membranes since then).
