bright red bump or something on upper thigh/groin area..

I am a 23 year old male.  i have had sex with only 1 person and that is my wife and she has no problems.  but a few months ago i got this small red bump/boil dont know what it is in my groin/ upper thigh area.  when i first got it it jut stung a lil but after a few days it went away.  it came back again and has been there for a week or so now.  it stings at times when i move around. it also stings sometimes when im in the shower.  its on and off.  here are some pictures of it..

please let me know what you think.  i will be moving soon and currently do not have insurance so its tough for me to see a doctor.

i have also been afraid to touch it but the few times i hvae itstings a little.

The pictures are out of focus, but they look like a blocked follicle and that's what your description sounds like too.  I suggest you apply bacitracin or neosporin daily and otherwise leave it alone so it can get reabsorbed.  No other precautions (avoiding water, etc.) are needed.  Have a successful move.

also that area seems to smell too now.  since its on the right side of my groin, the right side seems to smell but the left is fine with no smell.
