Hi, I dont have the small bumps all over just one or two but they really bother me, i asked my derm to give me antibiotics but they dont work and make me highly sensitive to the sun even with sunscreen it is docycline, i also asked for retnin a , doesnt work anymore for me and i started using acne free the product with benzyl peroxide i am pretty sensitive and am worried that  it could make them worse over time is it possible to become immune to it?  i just wish something would work it is ruining my life!

Hi

These sound like a case of acne. However, this does not sound like a severe form of acne and thus, I do not think retinoids are necessary. Just wash your face gently with a mild cleanser like Cetaphil and apply a very small amount of antibiotic solution over the area with a cotton bud. Clindamycin 1% may be availabe in gel or solution form and may be applied thinly over the area. This should help control the eruptions. Only use in affected areas and do not apply all over the face as this is an antibiotic. You may ask your doctor about this. It is important to complete the days allotted for antibiotics use to prevent resistance to the medications.
