so confused

ok so i have this big soft red bump inside my belly button. its pretty big but u can only see it if i open up my belly button. i noticed last night that there was a LOT of dried puss in my belly button and when i took it all out i noticed the bump inside. the puss smells really bad and i dont know what this bump could be. someone said a hernia, but its not sticking out of my belly button, someone said a boil but it doesnt look like a boil at all. it's long and I can't seem to find the end of it. it just keeps going. i don't know what it could possibly be. there was a tiny bit of blood but not much, and i've been having random pains above my belly button, in my lower back and my sides. does anyone possibly know what this is??

It could definitely be a ruptured cyst. I had a similar issue and the doc did a biopsy and ruled out St. Joseph's nodule. have a check with your dermatologist immediately!!

it could be a ruptured cyst. you need medical attention due to the radiating pain and pus. clearly it is infected and anytime pain radiates to other areas such as yours is it could indicate the infection spreading.

is it red around the belly button and are you feverish?
