So the culture test not good too!!!! Is it right?

I went to stds clinic.todst and they culture it but without fluid. Just swab the skin for test. Is it right?
I think they must colect fluid to test it or i am wrong.

Thank u

The culture and sensitivity test mentioned earlier relates to finding out bacterial organisms.
(Folliculitis)
The culture test for HSV virus may or may not be positive. If negative HSV -DNA test is done.
The emphasis still will be on the clinical diagnosis.

Also when I was working for Key Clinics we used symptomatic therapy on clinical suspicion for HSV.
But then protocols vary from country to country.Do consult your health provider.

Blood tests, which detect antibodies to HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection, can be helpful, although the results are not always clear-cut.(CDC)

A 'culture and sensitivity test' is likely to reveal the pathogen and treatment to be followed..

U mean Herpes culture not good with recurrent outbreak.

I found another red bump last night in the left scortum with white discharge come out from the bump with little left side lymph nodes, it does not look like a blister. I was on antibiotic since Wednesday night to clear any bacteria but still getting bumbs.

Any advise.

Thank you.

In such a senario one has to depend on DNA test for herpes.
HSV DNA testing. To detect HSV genetic material in a patient sample. DNA testing is usually done only if the culture is negative but the physician still suspects herpes.
Herpes culture-Viral shedding would decrease in time and so may not be positive except in earlystages.
Most cases will show igG antibodies. As I have told you earlier congenital deficiencies present early in life with recurrent infections.
Best wishes.

1- If the IGm or IGG  immunoglobulin (General test)  deficiency make STD (Herpes IGG/IGM) tests could be invalid?

2- IGm immunoglobulin (General test)  deficiency mean I'll never develope IGG antibody for fight anything because I 'll never develope IGM in the first. !!!

Thank you.

These are specific(IgG andIGm) but polyclonal antibodies are nonspecific.

What about igg immunoglobulin and igm immunoglobulin?

The human body produces specific antibodies against different antigens(Monoclonal antibodies). You are right.

Yes but then I would expect the patient to present with a clinical picture of recurrent infections from childhood or other syndromes associated.
