tiny itchy blisters on arms & legs

Shamefully, for almost 8 years I have been getting very small itchy blisters on various spots on my arms and legs.  The small blisters develop and immediately itch intensely, which is how I know they're there.  They have a clear fluid inside, with no puss.  When I scratch them in my sleep or when they break, they often weep a little  amber colored liquid.  Also, when I scratch them, more tiny blisters will develop around the original blister, signifying an infection.  These broken blisters often leave  (little open sores) which can be difficult and slow to heal.  These outbreaks seem to come in waves, as I'll often go weeks or even a month or two without a sign of blisters, itching, or infection.  I have never had any white puss or swelling redness around these troublesome blisters/vesicles, which isn't like any normal skin infection I've ever had before.  Can anyone help me diagnosis this problem please?

I noticed several people around me were having the same condition!

Hi,

I had 5 breakouts in the last 3 years but the very last one began in mid July this year right after I started my first Mango this year, I stopped after 3 Mangos right way because I suspected the Mango had something to do with
my blisters/rashes for the past 3 years besides the Florida sun and ocean.

My process is called the elimination process, I started with items which I
obtained as habits in the past 3 years.

First, I quit beer because when I have the blisters or rashes, the beer drinking made these things itch and painful, I think the alcohol irritates the skin, so I did my first step but the alcohol only becomes problem once you have the blister or rash so if you have these monsters, don't drink.

Then I carefully rinse my body every time I get out of the ocean water, that
proves helpful, I was blister/rash free for 4 months, then the Florida
mango season started, boy, these monsters come up overnight.

Last year, I had 25 mangos, the itch drove me crazy for over 6 months!!!!

So I have reasonable doubt that the mango is no good for me, I googled
the mango ingredients, it says, 'poison ivy' similar ingredient
is in mango as well, that may explain the itch part, luckily I had 2 or 3 only
in July this year.

I used the two creams that I said in my last email above, the 5% one is very effective for the blisters, it shrunk them besides stopping the itchness,
the 0.5% I used to stop itch all over my body.

Today, 10/8/2011, 2.5 months later, my skin is smooth once again, no blister anywhere, so my advice to you is watch what you are eating, fruits
specially.

Oh, hot, spicy taste work like alcohol, they makes your blistered skin itch
and painful as hell, so avoid them if you have blisters or rashes.

The reason that I am giving you my life experience here is because
I know how painful you are, I hope what I say here will release some pain for you.

1 more, the blisters on the finger tips?  You may break them with a nail clipper, once the juice is out, the itch is gone, apply some neosporin to prevent infection overnight because it heals overnight.

Good luck to you all.

I have been doing some research into this annoying skin problem we are having and found out about a type of skin healing patch called Hydrocolloid dressing. I recently tried it out on my blisters and it worked! the itchiness stopped and the open sores were cleared and the spreading stopped within a week. I dont know why doctors do not recommend this product, its amazing. Its a thin waterproof elastic film that you leave on top of your wound for a week and when you take it off the blister is all healed up. it protects the blister from outside bacteria and stops you from itching and in sequence stops the spread. Im serious try this out, any brand is ok, i got myself the ones from targets brand for a good price.

Omg... I have been getting these on my knees lately and it is so itchy, I am also a roofer, so my job tends to irritate the symptoms.
I am a heavy smoker, have had pneumonia 3 times in 4 years and my tongue is sore most of the time...
Anyone have a idea what if any of this has in common?
