Flat Warts on the Right Cheek

I am 25 years old,  I am suffering since I was 17 years old of flat warts (approx. 18 wart) on my right cheek. I have been into the Derm. several times and tried many treatments such as two boxes (24 sachets) of (Aldara 5% Cream) using it on MWF with no improvments. I also tried Locacid Solution and sometimes electirc burning, drinking Zinc,etc.. and there was no improvments as well..

An advice would be highly appreciated!

Hello,
For small warts , several medications(like podophyllum resin, Podofilox (Condylox), Trichloroacetic and bichloroacetic acids, Imiquimod 5% cream and interferons) are available, which can be applied directly to the surface of the warts. Other treatment options include electrical cautery, surgical removal, Carbon dioxide laser treatment and electrodesiccation. These methods are more long lasting and permanent than application of topical agents which provides only temporary relief.

In my opinion you should talk to a cosmetologist/dermatologist about this and get these warts evaluated.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
