very itchy all over

very itchy all over

i've been having this itchyness all over my body for a while now. it started on the insides of my thighs and between my buttocks. and it spread slowly first to the rest of my thighs then my hips, my back, stomach, arms legs, even on my genitals. i've been trying to put up with it and hope it goes away soon but it's just gotten worse. and i can't get my parents to make a doctors appointment anytime soon. i just want to know whats going on. i've noticed small, very small, bumps, and they will turn red if itched, sometimes the itchy area doesn't have bumps, and just red marks. what makes me the most concerned is i got a few red bumps on the tip of my penis, and my feet are EXTREMELY ithcy, and i gently scratched my left foot once and the first layer of skin came off. and i had to wrap it up for a few days. i've also noticed itchy spots that is like dry/dead skin in sort of a line thats raised up on my hands. i've tried everything i can think of that might be the cause. i changed soap, changed my sheets, i thought maybe there was mold growing somewere, none of them helped. please give any information you can.

Scabies is my impression.

i thought that too. i looked it up, and i haven't been in direct contact with anyone who has it, or their clothes. and when i looked it up, the pictures, or symptoms didn't seem to match what i have.

Generally there are contacts either in family or friends.Scabies is not easy to diagnose sometimes, especially with no such history. Genital lessions, night time itching are characterestic.
Best wishes.

thanks, i did a little more looking around and it could be it. when i go to bed and wake up is when i itch the most. and my sister's friend supposedly had it, but i don't know how it went from them to me. i don't even know them, nor am i in contact with their clothes or skin. but that could be the cause. thanks again.
