red painful spot on penis

I had an old girl friend over and we were going to have sex , however she just used her hand and that was all . The next day or so I had this small red spot about the size of a peanut on my penis head . Its been about a week and it still hasn't gone away , but isn't getting any bigger or spreading either . It is sensitive to the touch and can be painful at times when my under garments rub it . Prior to her being here I was on a very strong antibiotic call bactrim for a skin infection under my arm . I went back to the same doctor and let him know that the drug was upsetting my stomach and made my lips chapped badly . He also took a look at my penis and told me he thought the bactrim also caused this . He was very fast and not very thorough . He changed my medicine to keflex and it seems to work better and even my lips are healing up , but not my penis . I'm very clean and take pretty good care of myself and am 34 years of age . Any input or thoughts would help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lump persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I agree; trauma from manual during or right after antibiotic use can happen.  Eat some yogurt and/or use Lotrimin jock itch cream (original formula) and I think that will sooth the skin and help it heal.  I think the antibiotic just messed up your skin flora and it couldn't take the trauma.  Use a lubricant next time.
