white bumps

I was diagnoised with HPV a couple weeks ago and now my boyfriend and I are freaking out about warts. We aren't sure if I got it from him, or someone else, wee knew because my pap came back as high risk abnormal. She told me I had HPV and said it was moderate, as reading warts are usually caused by low-risk HPV which she didn't say I had. Before we even started having sex my boyfriend had white head looking bumps on the shaft of his penis (right beneith the head). Now that we are both kind of worried, we have been looking at them more closely. Now today he has one that hurts and is also bigger. Still the pin looking white head, just looks like a swollen zit kind of. As reading I heard of sweat glands getting infected (and he works outside)... should we be worried that they are warts, or no?
