Needle bruises
Is there any way to inject the needle with out getting a bruise or having it bleed... I know you're supposed to inject it in a fatty area and I do but I still get bruises and sometimes it bleeds and I'm worried I'm losing some insulin

Hi,
sometimes bruising is not avoidable. It may help if you leave the needle in for a couple of seconds before your withdraw it. Also, if you notice bleeding immediately put pressure over the spot. This will stop the bleeding and minimize the bruising.
