Numbness

I am experiencing numbness in one foot from this morning.What it signifies? IDDM since 2003 Feb.
On Insulin.

The numbness could mean neuropathy or it could be something as simple as a pinched nerve. I suggest that you tighten up your glucose controls if your levels are not in ideal control right now, for nerve damage can be reversed if caught early and if glucose levels are brought to normal with tight control. Of course, it is possible that you simply have a pinched nerve in a leg or some other temporary problem. I would ask my doctor for a neurological exam if I were you.

You could have peripheral neuropathy.  You should get a neurological exam.
