No apologies needed. You can seek further assistance from people who have experienced or are going through your concerns/issues on the MedHelp Type 1 Diabetes forum. Your immediate concern should be arresting and preventing future low glucose levels.
sorry.. i didn't know that
i've always thought that having low sugar level means one is not a diabetic
"by the way i dont have diabetes .. but 'low' sugar level in blood."
There are three categories of diabetes;
Type 1 - Hypoglycemia, low blood glucose
Type 1.5 aka LADA - Latent Autoimmune Disease in Adults
Type 2 - Hyperglycemia, high blood glucose
"What is glaxose-D? A sugary snack? "
yes.. it's a powder made from grinding sugar into pieces and also by combining some vitamins into it.
by the way i dont have diabetes .. but 'low' sugar level in blood.
"can a patient with low blood sugar levels, eat alot of sugar and glucose (i.e. glaxose-D) and eat bananas ?"
To raise glucose levels back to normal levels in an emergency glucose tablets found at your local drug store work best. But ask yourself why the low levels? You did something to cause it and you must try your hardest to prevent it from happening again. Having peaks - going from low to high or vice versa, especially rapid decline/incline - is very dangerous and hard on your cardio system. Bananas are high in potassium & sugar. An occasional one or two is OK but not for type 2 diabetics. To much potassium is just as bad as too little potassium. Both disrupt your heart rhythm. What is glaxose-D? A sugary snack?
hi... I eat a banana a day but am not certain if I should , I went to a Christmas brunch 2 days ago, and had some wine and deserts it is obvious I shouldnt have done that as I havent felt well since ,This diabetes is sure about having good control on ones behavior , , I will get there .....
thanks for the help.. one more thing
can a patient with low blood sugar levels, eat alot of sugar and glucose (i.e. glaxose-D) and eat bananas ?
This link provides 311 causes for muscle atrophy. It doesn't go into laymen explanations but leans towards medical terminology.

This is a little easier to follow but not as in-depth as the previous link.

And this link

well thank you for that information it would be nice if you could be civil occasionally ..........
There are no doctors on the diabetes forum. Dr Ramsetty left MedHelp last December.
The answer is yes but also can be associated with other diseases.
Interesting question have you googled Hypoglycemia ,there must be information about it , perhaps the expert /Doctor forum will also have some information for you.
