Diabetes?

Well for almost 3 years I have been very thirsty all the time always drinking liquids, water, pop. An I am going pee like every hour and have abdominal pains that come and go, I'm wondering if I'm diabetic, my dad is and my cousin as well. I have no insurance or money soo I cannot see a doctor about this, I have been unemployed since June soo I have no money. Idk who else to ask help!

Do your Dad or your cousin have blood sugar meter at home. Maybe you can do some home testing borrowing their meter.

normal fasting blood sugar is typically in the range of 70 - 90.

Normal 2 hours after eating is < 120 (or at worst < 140).  Please see if you can at least get some  home testing done so you can see if you really have a problem.

I understand Wallmart sells cheap home glucose monitors and test strips (I am not in states).  It may be worth getting one and testing if you can't borrow one / use from a relative.

I am sorry to hear that. But since diabetes can be hereditary, plus you've  been having all those symptoms, then you really must go see a doctor to have your condition properly diagnose and you can be given the right medication. There is no cure yet for diabetes but you can prevent it from getting worse, that of course will need the right guidance from your doctor.

For a diagnose you realy need to see an MD  doing nothing (if you are diabetic) will lead to going blind and loosing your toes then feet then legs then you die.  Better to find out so you can control your BG.  Diabetes IS controllable, you dont have to get complications.
