Hello,

yes, go on insulin!  It is a wonderful tool that will helpy ou control your blood sugars.  This is very important for your baby and your own health.

Do read up on using insulin though. It is very important that you will be testing your blood sugars frequently and learn how to properly use insulin so that you both can be safe.

Blood pressure medication is also indicated if you have high blood pressure.

Control the amount  of carbs you eat.  Avoid / limit bread, rice, pasta, corn and sweet fruits. Eat foods that are low glycaemic index.

All other vegetables are fine to eat.  Meats and fats are ok.

Daily exercise of at least 30 minutes walking will help.  Even better if you can walk for 30 minutes after each main meal.

Hope this can help you.
