Your thyroid is definitely on the low side.  You need to find a dr that will medicate you /  treat you for this.  Your T4 should be about 8 - 10 and the T3 shoul be at least 1.5.  However, next time they should test FT3 and FT4, which are the active thyroid hormones.

Try probiotics.  Please also try elimination diet to see if changing what you eat helps.  For example eat a lot more vegetables / less meat / grains.  See if this can help.

hi,

Thanks for your reply. My T3 is 0.66 (ng/ml)  - Normal Range (0.94-2.33 ng/ml)
T4 is 6.02 mcg/dl - Normal Range (6.0-12.0 mcg/dl) and TSH is 2.25 mc/U/ml - Normal range (0.25-5.0 mc/U/ml).

This issue is not look genetic because no one in my family have this issue also i did not have this problem 5-6 years before . from last 5-6 years i have this odour . so please suggest me if you have any solution for this.

Hi Jimmy,

how low is your T3 (against the reference range) and what is your T4 and TSH levels (against the reference range).  next time test FT3 and FT4,  which are more important than T3 and T4.  If FT3 and FT4 are low (ideal is middle of reference range or higher), you probably should be treated for low thyroid.

BO can have a number of causes:-

1. It could just be genetic.... does anyone else in your family have such issue.
2. Try doing a detox.  Eat lots of vegetables, avoid processed foods of all kinds, and drink plenty of water.  Some people may find that their BO changes based on their diet.
3. Try taking probiotics.  this can be from yoghurt or actual supplement.
4. Exercise vigorously so you sweat, to help remove toxnins from your body.
5. You could try natural deoderising agents. This could include doing a body scrub with bicarb soda.
6. Probably you should get a full medical checkup to also make sure there are no obvious medical reason causing this problem.
