Good answer. That fasting level is prediabetes and he needs to watch it if he doesn't want to go over the edge into full-blown diabetes.
His blood sugars are NOT fine. A fasting level of 121 mg/dl is prediabetes.
You didn't give us much information to work with expect 121 fasting. Go here and educate yourself about diabetes prevention, and diabetes control and management. Also, follow what your doctors says to do.

Take the time to read other threads on this forum which cover foods to eat and foods to avoid. Along with correct nutrition playing an important part of your lifestyle, so does proper body weight, a normal Lipid panel, and daily physical exercise.
Lastly, go see your doctor for your depression and tension issues. You may be referred to a therapist and/or psychologist for advanced help.
