Good job.  I am so pleased to hear  you are finding the motivation to get this back under control.

I am highly motivated to stay well for my children.  It helps that we are doing it for someone else not just for ourselves.  And you know what, when our kids are grown then we've got grandkids to look forward to.

Well controlled diabetes has no complications.  But this means diet and exercise and medications, probably insulin in your case.

You can do this.  Keep up the excellent start you are now making!

You know, even if you have bad days, take each day as a new start and don't give up and keep trying.  Ask for the help you need.  Read to understand how to treat this.

Hello,
go to your doctor TODAY.

Ask to be tested for Thyroid function.  This is a very common problem in  people with diabetes.  Low thyroid often causes DEPRESSION, which is sounds like you have.

If you do have depression and it is not from thyroid, it needs to be treated.

Aside from that you need to start treating your diabetes now.  With blood sugars this high you should be on insulin.  You know, you are going to feel so much better with well controlled blood sugars.

Death from diabetes is far from pleasant.  Don't put your kids through that.  it is also very expensive.

Come on get motivated!  Get the medical side of things looked into.  ASK for help.  From  your Dr. from you community.  There should be diabetic support groups around in your community.  You've done great by even coming here and admitting the problem.  NExt step is to start doing something.

I dont know what to say.

the choice is yours

You WILL go blind (wont see the kids)
you will loose your toes/feet/legs (cant walk with your kids ,drive, see picks of  with the Kids...)
you will die early.

the choice is yours

once you have complications they dont go away even if you start to control your BG,  the damage is done, you can prevent it from getting worse with control.

As far as life ending diseases diabetes is prity ease to survive.  Take medication eat less carbohydrates, test BG.

Your choice
