Hi, I am a type 2 diabetic as well. When I do have soda it is always diet. I never noticed any increased levels in my blood glucose levels tho. Try one for a day or two, monitor your levels and see if they affect anything. Something that I do is look at the lables when I am not sure if something is ok for me. When you do this compare the lables from a diet soda to a regular soda and see what they look like, this will pretty much give you a answer as well.
