symptoms

I'm 19 weeks and did my 3 hour glucose  yesterday so I still don't know if I have gestational diabetes. I know my blood pressure is slightly elevated. So maybe twice a week I will get weak and shakey and my arms feel heavy like after you hold a baby too long.....idk if this has to do with my blood pressure or blood sugar. I didn't have OJ so I drank a little soda it didn't help. Laid down to relax a little, didn't help. Had to go pick up my 10 year olds, started to have hot flashes. No cramping or bleeding or anything like that. Just a lil nauses but I don't think I'm gonna lose it. It happens when i shop too long too. Any ideas what's wrong and what can help? Tia

Drinking water is really important to  maintaining blood volume / blood pressure.

I would recommend that you get 2 x 1 Litre bottles, fill them with  water and put them where you are going frequently.  Every time you pass you drink a small cup of water, with the aim to finish the bottles in 1 day.  This at least will get you in the habit of drinking water.  Drink1 glass of water everytime before you eat.

Best wishes on your pregnancy.  YOu will also need to drink plenty of water so you can breastfeed your baby. :)  Good to get in the habit now.

Dr said to drink more water, which I admittedly have a problem with. I've been to the ER twice in this pregnancy for dehydration. I am trying harder, though it's probably not enough. Gonna touch base with my doctor again on the 8th. Thank you.

Hello,

we can't tell what this is from what you describe.  It could be from low blood sugar or it could be something else.  Please see your Dr as soon as possible to let them know what is going on and to get treatment as appropriate.

please come back to let us know how you are doing.

Regards
