As already posted this could be diabetes related.  It could also be a pinched nerve, a bit of carpal tunnel syndrome.  Pay attention to the timing (all the time, mornings, nights), location (which hand(s), which fingers?) and any other patterns you notice.

Good luck with this and do check it out with your doc.  Even if you're not due for an appt, you might consider giving him/her a phone call to begin the process.

Dear rebOrn,
The tingling numbness can be from diabetes, either from peripheral nerve damage or poor circulation caused by diabetes. i would just think of it as a symptom to be mentioned at my next doctor visit. Before i go to a doctor appointment i keep track of different things i want to ask and list them in a notebook and leave space to write whatever the doctor says as an answer. You're paying enough for a doctor, you might just as well try to get the best out of it. But who knows, they may not be diabetes related, but that won't stop the doctor from finding the proper answer. good luck, bret
