I think the comment was a good one.  I hope also you have spoken to your doctor and maybe you could consult a urologist as well.

I've suffered from ED and I'm only 25!  I jumped on it right away.  I'm still trying to figure some things out.  My BS I feel are respectable, but not perfect.  I'm working to get a stronger lock on it, or have a pancreas transplant.  ANYWAY, Ive discovered about myself that if I had just recently had perhaps a prolonged High Blood Sugar then getting an erection is difficult.  So in order to have consistent, good erections Blood Sugar control is a must.  If they do get high then get on it quick!  (As in take the right amount of insulin right away)  As I understand it as long as it isn't high for too long its much better than a prolonged High.
