I agree with SGG. You might consider getting tested again once your infection and your medication are out of your system. Then you'll know your baseline and can be aware of any changes in the results of your annual physical.
When people are ill, they produce some stress hormones, and these hormones can cause glucose levels to rise a little. That might explain your very SLIGHTLY elevated fasting number. The medicines might also cause an elevated number. In my humble opinion, your number is really pretty normal (the range that has been quoted to me as normal for a fasting glucose test is slightly different from the one you gave... the numbers my endocrinologist uses are 70-126).
