Diabetic daughter vaginal discharge

My 9 year old daughter has type 1 diabetes and is currently secreting a greenish vaginal discharge with some odor.  Please advise what this might be and how to treat it.

Thank you for the advise, making appointment tomorrow.  There is no fever and she does not seem to be in pain though obviously this is not natural.

I am not a doctor, there are doctors on here but you have to go to the right site for professional help
I would say that your daughter has and infection and I would take her to the doctor

hello,

this sounds like an infection - possibly bacterial.

Infections are more likely if blood sugars are high, and this may also make them take longer to recover.

Wash the external area with water and a very mild soap. Do not try to put anything in her vagina.

I think a visit to her pediatrician is called for if this has lasted more than a couple of days / is not improving.  If she has fever or is otherwise unwell, take her urgently to the Dr.
