I should add, the log may help identify a pattern or a food, or lack of, that triggers your reaction. Rapid weight loss including the type of diet [not mentioned] may be contributing factors.
Try starting a log of what you eat, the time you eat, what your preprandialand and postprandials levels are, and then the time you get your 'loopy' feeling.
Also, do you have access to a blood pressure tester and heart rate monitor? If not see if a friend is a member of a gym/health club or check your local gym/health club for free trial membership programs. My area clubs have this equipment onsite. While there do some exercise to get your blood circulating. Good luck
i know everything about my diabetes, like my blood sugar after a meal is like 150 then after a little while goes back to 100-120, sometimes peaks at 180 after a meal but not that bad, i control it via diet. i know when to test and everything like that. i dont really exercize everyday, ive lost weight since i got diabetes like 5 months ago like 30 pounds. so im on my way down but this feeling is killin me im gonna have to go back to the hospital i think because im just uneasy when im out and stuff.
Hi JeremyB123:
I think you should really try to find a regular doctor and keep going to the hospital to find out what's going on. I think your symptoms could be related to your condition, or it could be something completely else but you wont know until you go see a doctor. it's also really important to remember that you have to exercise as well. I know with diabetes you have a lot to remember to do, but this is one of the more important things.
Hugs :)
"btw my blood sugar is running fine."
Hmmm....you didn't mention what it is fasting, preprandial or postprandial, so how can we tell?
You can get that 'loopy' feeling from high glucose levels or from a variety of health issues. How long after a meal was 1:40 when hit you hard?
Your post doesn't mention
1. Have you purchased and use a home glucose test meter?
2. Do you know when to test?
3. Do you know what normal ranges are?
4. What are your test results; fasting, preprandial, postprandial
5.. Are you adhering to a diabetic diet?
6.. Do you perform 30 mnutes of daily physical exercise?
7. Are you at normal body weight?
If you cannot afford to see a doctor go to the ER. Inform them of your financial hardships and they will work with you.
You say your blood sugar is fine. What are your readings?
hi I am glad your blood sugar is fine.
you NEED to see a doctor.
It very well may be panic attacks.
You said you don't really notice it at your house.
Call around to clinics etc. that go by a sliding scale.
Did you go to the hospital for this?
If so what did they say?
Keep in touch please.
Great your bs is where it should be!
