Insulin in China

About 23 million people are suffering from type 2 diabetes in China. Are they using herbal medicines or insulin? Is there any record of how many people are using insulin in china?

ya... insulin is needed in type 1 and advances stage of type 2... but that depends how advanced the stage is.. even in advanced stage of type 2 can be cured without insulin, depends on the doctor (herbal medicine) also..

anyways.. thanks for the reply man.. but i actually need the apporx numbers of people using insulin suffering from type 2 of diabetes... :(

I have no idea how many people in china are using insulin, but I am sure it is a good number.  People with type 1 diabetes and advanced type 2 diabetes not managed on oral meds, must have insulin or they will die....

Some also do use herbals and accupuncture as well, but these are complimentary to and don't replace the appropriate use of insulin.

My friend's father has diabetes and listened to chinese medicine doctor who told him he could be treated with Chinese medicine alone.  He ended up very sick in hospital.  Now he takes his insulin without question.
