MRI

Just wondering if anyone ever had an MRI with similar findings having to do with eye sight loss caused by type 2:
Here are my findings from my MRI which I have no clue what they mean: There are several tiny punctate foci of abnormal signal predominately located within the subcortical white matter of the cerebral hemispheres bilaterally but are also noted within the deeper centrum semiovale and periventricular white matter. These are more prominent in the frontal lobes. I do not have nor have I ever had a migraine. I have had Epilepsy for 35 years.Been diagnosed with type 2 in March with an A1c of 9.5 which is now down to 4.9 (wooohooo) I looked up in the MS forum and asked some folks there if they knew what this reading might be too. Thank you so much!

sounds to me like the 35 yr of epliepsy might be the result u have. What did your dr say? or the radiologist. They tell the findings and the possible diagnosis. Are u asking if diabetes causes blindness? It can with very uncontrolled diabetes, I am sure it has to go on for quite a long time. Sometimes very high blood sugar can cause the sight to get very bad, and low can do the same. wow how did u get your a1c down so fast? what is your secret?
